We also added Agave to make the Sea Moss Gel palatable for those who do not like the natural taste of the Sea Moss.
Our Sea Moss comes in an 8 oz. glass container and is made to order. We freeze it prior to sending it in the mail, so please allow an additional day to receive your order. Sea Moss Gel is great for 3-4 weeks in the refrigerator and 6 months in the freezer.
We offer Gold, Green, Purple and Full Spectrum Sea Moss.
Gold Sea Moss, has the most mild flavor of the other sea moss. It contains beta cryptoxanthin which is a precursor of vitamin A, which is an essential nutrient needed for eyesight, growth, development and immune response. If you are just starting out with sea moss this is the best option.
Purple Sea Moss, has a stronger flavor and is high in antioxidants called anthocyanins. Anthocyanins are responsible for the natural colors such as red, pink and purple, which is found in sea moss. Anthocyanins are also present in blue fruits and vegetables. These phytonutrients, like ascorbic acid, tocopherols, polyphenolic compounds, and terpenoids; are powerful antioxidants that fight against free radical that lead to cell damage in the body. Anthocyanins are also reported to have anti-inflammatory and antibacterial activity.
Green Sea Moss, Green sea moss has a strong flavor profile and is rich in chlorophyll. Chlorophyll is chemically similar to hemoglobin, a protein that is essential in red blood cells as it carries oxygen around a person’s body. Green Sea Moss is known to boost energy levels and improve overall health. Green sea moss is rarer than Gold and Purple sea moss due to its longer growth cycle.
Full Spectrum Sea Moss, mix contains a variety of all the Sea Moss colors. Consuming Full spectrum is a great way to combine and diversify the maximum amount of nutrition, iodine content, antioxidant content, phytonutrient content, and chlorophyll content.
